Study Shows Nearly 75% of U.S. Workers Report Use of Technology Now Critical to Their Careers Due to COVID-19

Naperville, Ill, Sept. 16, 2020 – Nearly three out of four (73 percent) of employed respondents in a national survey conducted by DeVry University said the use of technology has become critical in their careers due to the COVID-19 crisis. And more than half (51 percent) said they need to learn new technology skills to either keep their job, get a promotion or find a new position at a different company.

LABOR DAY ALERT: AMERICAN WORKERS FEEL DISPOSABLE

Naperville, Ill, Sept. 4, 2020 – This Labor Day, when American workers should be feeling recognized and celebrated, nearly one in four employed Americans (24 percent) believe that American workers are not valued, according to a survey by DeVry University. Perhaps more shocking, 36 percent of survey respondents report that based on their employer’s actions since the start of the pandemic, they believe their employer views them as “disposable.”

With One Year to Go Until the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, DeVry Student Athlete Perseveres Towards Her Other Dreams

Naperville, Ill. – Aug. 24, 2020 – Several DeVry University student athletes were qualified and preparing to compete this month in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.  However, like other major sporting competitions, the Paralympic Games were postponed due to the global pandemic. Today marks one year from the new start date of the Paralympic Games: August 24, 2021.
