DeVry University Re-Opens Kansas City Campus

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dec. 18, 2018 – DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 12, to commemorate its new Campus location in Kansas City. While still located at 1310 E. 104th Street, DeVry moved its Campus from the 2nd floor of the building to the newly renovated space on the first floor, in Suite 120.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony focused on the importance of higher education in the Kansas City community, and featured speakers including Councilman Kevin McManus of Kansas City’s 6th District; Rick Chambers, immediate past chair of the South Kansas City Chamber Board of Directors; and Amy King, group president for DeVry University.

The new DeVry facility provides a collaborative environment, including three classrooms, break out areas for student groups, a student lounge, and an academic support center.

"The new open floor plan concept provides a connectedness to the entire campus community – our students, faculty and staff,” said Rohn Benbrook, center dean, Kansas City. “The staff always makes themselves available for students to come talk about how classes are going or how we can assist them or general feedback. The open floor plan makes the staff more accessible.”

DeVry University offers associate, bachelor and master degree programs, online or at one of its 50+ locations nationwide. For more information on DeVry University, the new Kansas City Campus or any of its undergraduate or graduate degree programs, visit www.devry.edu.
