DeVry University Celebrated its New Bay Area Center With a Special Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Newark, Calif. – July 15, 2019 – DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management celebrated the opening of their new Newark Center at 8000 Jarvis Ave., Ste. 220, Newark, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony. Those in attendance included local officials and guest speakers Newark Mayor Alan Nagy, Vice Mayor Maria Collazo, Fremont council woman Teresa Keng, and representatives of the Newark Chamber of Commerce along with DeVry faculty, students, alumni and friends.

“We could not be happier with our new home here in Newark,” said Ryan Sagers, group president, West region, DeVry University. “We have been rooted in the community for 15 years, and we’re thrilled to continue serving the community and preparing students to work in the global business economy.”

DeVry recently moved from its previous Freemont location one mile away to a new facility in Newark that provides a more collaborative education environment for students. The new Center has six classrooms and also includes break out areas for student groups, a student lounge, an academic support center and administrative offices. The design and layout offers an open floor plan in the lobby and common areas. The classrooms and computer room are also more spacious and comfortable for students.

DeVry University offers associate, bachelor and master degree programs, online or at one of its 45+ locations nationwide. For more information on DeVry University, the new Newark Center or any of its undergraduate or graduate degree programs, visit www.devry.edu.
