U.S. Olympic Silver Medalist Chris Mazdzer Delivers Keynote Address at DeVry University Commencements

CHICAGO, IL – Aug. 2, 2018 – U.S. Olympic silver medalist and DeVry University alum, Chris Mazdzer, will deliver the keynote address at the university’s Chicagoland area commencement ceremonies on Sunday, Aug 5. More than 700 DeVry and Keller Graduate School of Management graduates will be conferred at the Rosemont Theater in Rosemont, Ill., at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Mazdzer is expected to speak about the importance of goal setting, passion and purpose.  read more >

DeVry University Holds Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Gurnee Center

Gurnee, Ill. – Mar 26, 2018 – DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management announce the opening of the new Gurnee Center at 1325 Tri-State Parkway. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday evening, March 22, and included Mayor Kristina Kovarik, Gurnee Chamber Executive Director Elmer Fallos and Lake County Chamber Executive Director Stewart Kerr, along with DeVry University faculty, students, alumni and friends. DeVry University Receives Accreditation Reaffirmation for Engineering Technology Programs

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill – October 18, 2017— The Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET recently reaffirmed DeVry University’s programmatic accreditation for all of its campus-based engineering technology bachelor’s degree programs.  In addition, DeVry’s online engineering technology undergraduate programs are now ETAC of ABET-accredited. read more >

DeVry University Offers Advanced Manufacturing Bootcamp

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – May 17, 2017 – According to a recent study by the Career Advisory Board[1], there is a general lack of technical proficiency among those entering the workforce. A 2015 study sponsored by The Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte[2] found the skills gap in manufacturing could lead to an estimated 2 million unfilled job in the United States over the next decade, prompted in part by a lack of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills among its workforce. read more >

DeVry University Addresses Growing Tech Skills Gap with New Technology Pathway

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill – May 16, 2017— A 2017 study by the Career Advisory Board[1] noted  the growing technology skills gap among current U.S. employees and job applicants, as well as a general lack of technical competency for those entering the workforce. To help in closing the the tech skills gap, DeVry University is offering a new educational pathway for its students – the DeVry Technology Pathway, (DeVry Tech Path).  With its Tech Path, DeVry has embedded technology-related curriculum within many of its degree and certificate programs. To ensure its Tech Path-designated programs are accessible, the university is also reducing tuition rates in these associate and bachelor offerings for new and readmit students. read more >
