Post-Tribune - With Twin Towers gone, DeVry opens new location in Merrillville

DeVry University officials celebrated a rebirth of its Merrillville campus Tuesday with an open house at its new location.

The university and its Keller School of Management this past fall moved to the former ITT College building at 8488 Georgia St., with its home of 21 years, the Twin Towers off U.S. 30 and Interstate 65 in Merrillville, slated for demolition.
The demolition was recently completed.

James Bartholomew, the university's national president, called the move DeVry's "next step in Merrillville" during the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by town and county officials, Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce members and others.
