Dr. Shakti Chatterjee, Ph.D., is a senior professor at DeVry University’s College of Engineering & Information Sciences where he teaches electronic engineering, computer engineering, and bio-medical engineering. He has taught at DeVry University for more than 30 years and consults in the biomedical field, and teaches bio-instrumentation at Ohio State University. Dr. Chatterjee recently wrote the book Biomedical Instrumentation Systems that provides a practical guide to high tech hospital equipment and has been incorporated into many college curricula including DeVry University.
Prior to joining DeVry University, Dr. Chatterjee was an adjunct professor at Ohio State University and a consultant for Ideatech Consulting Ltd. In 2004, he was awarded Teacher of the Year at DeVry University.
