Martin Stub is a professor at DeVry University in the College of Business & Management, where he teaches courses in accounting. His specialties are in taxation and accounting, and he shares that knowledge with students across a variety of courses, including Managerial Accounting.
Mr. Stub has been a professor at DeVry University for more than 28 years. Previously, he owned a broker-dealer firm, and worked as a tax manager at Coopers and Lybrand, CPA’s.
Mr. Stub is a certified public accountant, and holds a master’s degree in business administration from St. John’s University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brooklyn College. He belongs to the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. Mr. Stub has won the DeVry Pride award.
- Computer use is and will continue to be mandatory in all tax returns. It is almost impossible to prepare a simple tax return without a computer. Comfort with computers will be essential to the field.
