Oscar Gutierrez, Ph.D., is the Senior National Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at DeVry University and the dean of the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is responsible for providing leadership and oversight, establishing the direction of degree programs and supervising curriculum management and course development.

For the past 24 years, he has been a faculty member and administrator in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts – Boston, where he was most recently associate dean for graduate programs. Dr. Gutierrez began his career designing and developing information systems for Proyección Corporativa.

An accomplished academic scholar, he has more than 35 referred publications to his credit as well as numerous professional presentations and consulting projects.

Gutierrez earned a Master of Science in systems analysis and design and a Doctor of Philosophy in information systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He completed his undergraduate work in information management at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico.
