Title: Vice President of Operations Services

Eric Stortz is the vice president of Operations Services, responsible for synthesizing data intelligence and predictive analytics to provide strategic recommendations and initiate immediate outreach to improve student outcomes. His student care team facilitates data models and student centric centralized scheduling and provides student support advising, both financial and academic. He joined Adtalem Global Education (ATGE) in December 2014 as the senior director of IT Site Operations, where he enhanced their global technical support help desk services and improved the wireless internet connectivity for all ATGE institutions in North America and the Caribbean. 

A 16-year veteran of the higher education industry, Stortz has held various leadership roles. At Colorado Technical University (CTU), he was the vice president of Operations responsible for operations at 6 campuses nationwide and the online education delivery. He was a key leader in CTU’s successful 10-year HLC reaffirmation and the Department of Education’s Federal Program Integrity rules implementation. He held different positions at Career Education Corporation, including vice president of IT, where he managed key systems used by 14,000 employees and more than a 100,000 students worldwide.
 
Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Wittenberg University in Ohio. He began his career working as an electrochemist and holds two patents for his work.
