Title: Group President, Northeast Region, DeVry University

Anthony A. Stanziani is the group president of DeVry University’s Northeast region, providing strategic leadership and operational direction to all locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio. His primary focus is academic excellence, colleague engagement, enrollment management, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness and student success.
Stanziani joined DeVry University in 2009 as the president of the New York metro universities. In addition to serving the northeast region today, he is the chairman of the Board of Trustees for DeVry’s New Jersey metro-area. Prior to joining DeVry, Stanziani held several multi-campus leadership positions, the most recent as managing director of the College Division for Career Education Corporation.
In addition to his active student advocacy at the state and national levels, Stanziani has served as vice chair of the Commission for the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training and as chair of the NYS Proprietary School Advisory Council. He was a member of the Commissioner’s Advisory Council for Higher Education in NYS and chairman of the Board of Trustees for a number of colleges. He is also the founder and former chair of the Board of Directors for All for April, a non-profit organization supporting families with children affected by Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa.
Stanziani earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Mercy College in New York, where he also received a master’s degree in organizational leadership.
